Barbara Sotowicz - One Day Course

Malvern Aikido welcomed Barbara Sotowicz Sensei, 6th Dan Shidoin to take a day course at their dojo. There was a reasonable turnout of Aikidoka from Malvern, Hereford and Cheltenham.

As always, Sensei Sotowicz' teaching was excellent covering many technical details that we are often prone to overlook. These small adjustments make for a significant difference to practise and always result in added enthusiasm for both higher and lower grades.

Sensei Sotowicz demonstrated on more than one occasions how a fairly small-framed person can overcome an attack from someone considerably bigger and stronger with her superb technique. We hope to have many more opportunities to train with Sensei Sotowicz in the coming months.
